Suffolk Punch charity golf event to take place at Suffolk Golf Course

Ufford Park Woodbridge is set to host a May Bank Holiday meeting to raise funds for the Suffolk Punch horse, the oldest breed of English working horses which is now a critically endangered breed.

The event, founded by the complex owner and keen golfer Colin Aldous, is set to attract golfers from across the region to play two rounds at the 18 hole, par 71 course, nestled in the Suffolk countryside.

Colin said: “Since we opened the course in 1991 it has won several awards and played host to prestigious events such as the Sky televised PGA Euro Pro Tour.

“I am very proud of the course and am looking forward to being part of such a high-quality event, while raising funds for a fantastic local charity.”

The event is being held on Monday 31st May 2021 between 7am and 7pm and is open to full male members of clubs who hold current competition handicap golfers with a maximum handicap index limit of 9 strokes.
