Accident after vehicle reported travelling in wrong direction on the A11
Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision on the A11 in Red Lodge at the weekend.
Officers were called just before 10.55pm on Saturday, September 11, to reports of a vehicle seen travelling in the wrong direction on the northbound carriageway.
Approximately five minutes later officers then received reports of a collision involving three vehicles further down the northbound carriageway. Shortly after this, officers located a vehicle travelling in the wrong direction.
No one sustained any serious injuries, but all three vehicles had to be recovered.
Anyone who witnessed a red Toyota Auris travelling south along the northbound carriageway of the A11 between 10.30pm and 11.20pm on Saturday night, is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Bury St Edmunds, quoting reference: 50428/21.
