Past and present pupils at a Bury St Edmunds primary school have joined forces to celebrate its 70th anniversary.
Tollgate Primary School recognised the milestone with a special themed fancy dress day on Friday, September 17.
They then had more than 300 ex-students visit the school to reminisce and view old photos and artefacts.
Hannah Brookman, headteacher at the school in Tollgate Lane, said: “We are very proud to reach 70 years and we were delighted to celebrate this achievement both within school and by holding an open afternoon last Saturday.
“We spent last week looking at the history of the school and also historical events from the last 70 years which the pupils found very interesting.
“We then invited pupils to dress up as anyone famous from the last 70 years and we had everything from The Pink Ladies to Freddie Mercury come to school on Friday.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported our anniversary. The open afternoon gave us a wonderful opportunity to talk to past pupils and families about their recollections.”
A Facebook group has also been formed as a place to share old photos and memories with more than 500 people signing up.
