NEIL IS ELMSWELL CHAMPION GOLFER 2021

The 2021 Elmswell Golf Championship took place in September at Stowmarket Golf Club. It is an annual event that is open for all golfers to enter that live or have lived in Elmswell. This year there was a record field and the attendees for the meal that followed was also higher than normal.

This popular event has been running for two decades and has been notable for the number of different winners. This year was no exception with the another new Champion in Neil Holcombe who had an super round scoring 38 stableford points to take the Trophy that is sponsored jointly by Club- Noticeboard and Falcon Promotions. As ever there was a great prize table.

Champion – Neil Holcombe 38 points

Runner up – Mel Clarke

3^rd – Mike Topper

First Lady – Di Evans

There were also prizes for nearest the pins and longest drive.

Next Year’s Championship will be on Friday 23^rd September 2022
