Woman seriously hurt following crash in Stowupland
A woman is recovering in hospital after suffering life-changing leg injuries following a road traffic collision in Stowupland.
It happened on Monday, May 9, at around 11.05am, on Church Road.
Officers were called to the collision that involved a red Peugeot 107 and a black Smart Fortwo.
Police, the fire service, ambulance and the air ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
The driver of the Smart ForTwo, a woman in her 70s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital by air ambulance having suffered serious, potentially life-changing leg injuries.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicles moments before the collision, or anyone with dash cam footage of the collision.
