The BYOB lunchtime comedy show is coming to The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, later this month … and you can bring your baby along!
These shows feature the funniest comedians from TV and the circuit telling their grown-up jokes in a totally baby-friendly environment.
With over 76,000 babies born over lockdown, and increased reports of loneliness and isolation amongst new parents, it is more important than ever for mums and dads to go out, socialise and have fun. That’s where Bring Your Own Baby Comedy comes in. Until recently, baby groups were only able to happen virtually, so they have created live comedy shows that help parents get out of the house, have a laugh, feel like themselves again, and make new friends.
Bring Your Own Baby Comedy are the UK’s number one baby-friendly comedy club and are thrilled to be back up and running after lockdown. They are proud to give parents and care-givers the chance to come and enjoy the best comedians around … without worrying about childcare.
All of the acts perform their usual Saturday night comedy club material, which has received rave feedback from BYOB guests.
These award-winning shows are something totally unique for new parents. As well as being an awesome night out during the day, they also have soft flooring, changing and more for baby, plus plenty of buggy parking, and helping hands to make everyone’s day out even more fun.
Bring Your Own Baby was conceived by best friends and professional comedians Carly Smallman and Alyssa Kyria.
After new mum Alyssa suffered with pre-natal depression whilst pregnant with her daughter, these two funny ladies decided to help other local parents by starting a day-time comedy club in the function room above their local pub.
The shows have been so popular that they now host them across the country, bringing laughter to as many parents as possible.
Bring Your Own Baby Comedy is at The Apex, on Wednesday, June 22, at 11.30pm. Contact the box office on 01284 758000 or visit www.theapex.co.uk for more information or to book.
