Dozens of eggs stolen and smashed

Dozens of eggs have been stolen in Bury St Edmunds and smashed on the ground.

A resident of Church Walks, who sells eggs from a cool box outside her home, returned on Friday, June10, to find between 60 and 70 eggs broken. No money was received. She says she started selling the eggs on a non-profit basis to help elderly neighbours.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place between 1.30pm and 5.15pm.
