Concrete thought to have been thrown at vehicle from bridge in Sudbury
An object, thought to be a piece of concrete, was thrown from a bridge at a vehicle in Sudbury.
The incident took place at around 6.30pm on Friday, July 22, on Springlands Way (A134).
It is believed the object was thrown from a bridge that crosses the road between First Avenue and Drake Road junctions.
The object caused damage to the front of the vehicle that was heading away from the B1115 junction, towards the Tesco supermarket. No one was injured in the incident.
Officers would like to remind members of the public that throwing objects at vehicles is a criminal offence, capable of causing serious damage and injury.
Police are also urging drivers to report such incidents as soon as possible to assist with enquiries.
