Car leaves the road in crash at Combs Ford

A car left the road and collided with a fence, sleepers and a lamp post at Combs Ford.

The accident happened on Saturday, July 30, at about 1.10pm, on Needham Road.

A red Fiat Panda was travelling towards Combs Ford and the Magpie public house when it left the road.

The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for treatment to his injuries.
