Arsonists suspected of starting large fire in straw bales in Clare

A large fire has destroyed a substantial amount of straw bales in Clare with police describing the incident as suspected arson.

The blaze happened on Monday, August 1, at around 2.40pm on land off Stoke Road.

Officers are also urging the public to be aware as fires like this in these dry conditions could cause loss of property and life.
