Abbeygate celebrates magic of cinema with tickets costing £3 all day
The Abbeygate Cinema is joining forces with over 560 cinemas countrywide to celebrate the magic of cinema.
Saturday, September 3, sees all tickets, all day, priced at just £3.
The initiative has been developed by the cross-industry body Cinema First and is supported by the Film Distributors’ Association and the UK Cinema Association.
Similar celebrations were held in the 90’s, but this year’s event gives a nod to the steady recovery of the film exhibition business following the Covid pandemic.
The cinema is set to show “Fisherman’s Friends: One and All”, “Where the Crawdads Sing” and “Topgun; Maverick”.
Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton star in the new “Three Thousand Years of Longing”, plus for the younger family audience “Minions: Rise of Gru” and “DC League of Super-Pets”.
