Man named who died in fatal road traffic collision at Coddenham

Police are now able to provisionally name a man who died in a fatal road traffic collision at Coddenham at the weekend.

Officers received a call at about 8.55pm on Saturday, September 17, of numerous vehicles colliding with a pedestrian on the eastbound carriageway of the A14.

Emergency services were called to the scene where a male pedestrian had died. No-one else was injured in the collision.

Subject to confirmation at formal inquest proceedings, the fatality is named as 39-year-old Jason Pack, from Claydon.

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience whilst the A14 was closed overnight and into Sunday.
