Rock band Dare to play the Apex next month

Led by former Thin Lizzy keyboard player, Darren Wharton, rock band Dare are coming to the Apex as part of a 12-date tour to support the release of their 10th studio album “Road To Eden”.

The new release follows Dare’s critically acclaimed albums “Sacred Ground” (2016) and “Out Of The Silence 2” (2018). Both albums reached Number No 1 in the Amazon Classic Rock Charts in four countries (including the UK).

Dare entered the top 5 in the official UK Rock charts and Number No 1 in Japanese rock imports and previous albums have had over 4 million streams on Spotify.

“Road To Eden” is destined to be another modern Dare classic.

It was produced by lead-singer-songwriter Darren Wharton at his studio in the mountains of North Wales. The new album has a harder rock edge than previous albums, whilst still retaining the atmospheric sound and anthemic melodies that have become the band’s signature trademark.

Darren said: ,“We wanted to write an album that translated well to live performance. ‘Road To Eden’ has some great anthems, energy and power. We can’t wait to play the new songs live.”

Dare will be at the Apex on Thursday, October 13, at 8pm, see www.theapex.co.uk or ring 01284 758000 for more information or to book tickets.
