New website offers one-stop-shop for Suffolk theatre shows

A new website has been launched to offer a one-stop-shop for the wide variety of shows currently booking at Suffolk theatres.

Suffolk on Stage brings together all the county’s performances in one, easy-to-access place so visitors can browse everything at once – with full listings, a quick-view calendar, and reviews.

For those looking to head to the city for a night out, there is also a “London Calling” section offering recent reviews from the West End and beyond.

Creator, Martine Silkstone, said: “I am so excited to officially launch this project. I wanted to provide a platform where people could easily see what’s on and where across Suffolk and, with the help of our wonderful local theatres, the website is growing all the time. If you’re looking for a great night out it’s the perfect place to go for inspiration, with new shows being added all the time.”

Whether it’s music or comedy, theatre or special interest, each listing includes the date and time, along with an outline of the production and link to the hosting theatre’s web page to book tickets.

For those performers visiting more than one Suffolk venue, there are also links to their other shows – so if you can’t make one date, you can see if there is another nearby option.

“As a keen theatregoer, this is very much a passion project for me,” Martine adds.

“We have such an amazing collection of theatres in Suffolk, and so many great performances taking place, it’s fair to say there’s something for everyone. With Suffolk on Stage, your perfect show is just a click away.”
