Bury St Edmunds school shortlisted for prestigious award

South Lee Prep School & Nursery, in Bury St Edmunds, has been shortlisted for the Independent Pre-Prep School of the Year Award.

The recognition highlights the school’s commitment to providing an outstanding and engaging pupil experience.

Acting head, Sarah Catchpole, expressed her pride in the nomination.

“We are very proud to be shortlisted for the Independent Pre-Prep School of the Year category at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2024,” she said.

“This honour acknowledges the dedication and hard work of our entire school community.

“At South Lee Prep School & Nursery, we aim to deliver an exceptional experience that integrates academic excellence, robust pastoral care, and a wide range of extracurricular activities.

“Our goal is to nurture well-rounded, resilient individuals, and we are thrilled to have our efforts recognised.”

In addition to the  nomination, South Lee Prep School is also responding to growing demand by expanding its nursery provision. The school will be adding 24 additional spaces.
