Cannabis factory along with £16,000 cash found at property in Bury St Edmunds

A cannabis factory has been uncovered by police in Bury St Edmunds (pictured above).
It follows a warrant conducted at a property on Sunday, February 9, at Ridley Road, under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act.
The Kestrel team recovered a cannabis grow containing a total of 1,072 cannabis plants, as well as a large quantity of cannabis packaged for onward sale.
A large sum of cash was also seized from the address, estimated to be in the region of £16,000.
A quantity of high value items were also seized as part of the ongoing investigation including a motorbike.
No arrests have yet been made and enquiries into who is responsible are on-going.
