Man thought to be carrying an axe being sought following incident in Woolpit

Investigations are continuing after a man, thought to be brandishing an axe, was reported to have damaged a vehicle in Woolpit.
Police attended the scene at 12.34pm on Sunday, February 9, to reports of a person in possession of a weapon in Parkers Field Close.
This had followed an earlier altercation between two people, before the suspect, a male, returned in possession of a weapon, believed to be an axe.
He made verbal threats and damaged a vehicle with the weapon, before leaving.
Officers said the suspect is described as a white male. He had facial hair and was wearing a tight grey top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Officers attended the address and an investigation remains ongoing. There have been no arrests at this time.
