Appeal after women followed in Rickinghall

A man has been reported to police after following female dog walkers in Rickinghall.
The first incident occurred between 2pm and 2.30pm on Tuesday February 25, in Mill Lane.
This was followed by a further incident at around 9.50am on Thursday, February 27, in the areas of Bridewell Lane, Fen Lane and Mill Lane.
On both occasions, a lone woman out walking their dog stated that a man appeared to be following them, walking past them and doubling back, hiding behind bushes and in general acting strangely.
The man is described as white, around 6ft tall, of slim build and aged between 25 and 35.
Although on neither occasion did this individual attempt to make any form of physical contact with the women, police are aware of the alarm this type of behaviour has caused in the local community.
As such, officers have been conducting enquiries in the village and residents can expect to see uniformed patrols taking place.
