West End star Lee Mead set to appear at The Apex
Lee Mead, (pictured above) television actor and West End leading man, comes to The Apex as part of his brand-new UK tour.
Lee shot to fame in 2007 when he won TV’s “Any Dream Will Do” and was cast in the lead role of the 2007 revival of “Joseph’s Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”.
After 600 performances, he went to New York where he studied acting at the Lee Strasburg Institute, before heading back to London’s West End.
Along with acting on TV in “Casualty” and “Holby City”, Lee has starred in numerous stage productions, including “Wicked”, “Legally Blonde”, “Chicago”, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “We Will Rock You” and most recently “Sister Act”.
He has also released several successful albums that showcase his powerful vocals and impressive range.
Lee and his live band will play musical arrangements of unforgettable music from the world of Musical Theatre alongside contemporary hit songs.
