Expect exhilarating swing, when award-winning jazz vocalist and radio presenter Clare Teal (pictured above) returns to Bury St Edmunds with a new show to celebrate 25 years of touring.

Clare’s first gig in Bury St Edmunds was a lunchtime set in the Corn Exchange in the early 2000s, and she’ll be returning to The Apex on Friday, July 4, with gems from the Great American and British Songbooks, contemporary covers and original songs.

Clare’s live shows are constantly evolving, always infused with jazz and renowned for their fabulous arrangements.

Accompanied by her six-piece band, Clare will play songs by the likes of Sam Smith, Cole Porter, Van Morrison, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Radiohead and Peggy Lee.

Her live shows also include favourites from her many albums and acclaimed DVD “The Fireside Sessions”.

Former BBC Radio 2 and Jazz FM show DJ and winner of multiple British Jazz Singer of the Year awards, Clare’s stunning voice, encyclopedic knowledge of jazz, swing and big band music, together with her innate warmth and wit, make her one of the UK’s most celebrated jazz artists.
