Award-winning British blues powerhouse to appear at The Apex

Energetic British blues-rock band King King (pictured above) are redefining the genre with every performance and they are due to appear at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, next month.
Fronted by the charismatic and virtuosic Alan Nimmo, King King fuse technical brilliance with raw emotion, earning their place as one of the most exciting live acts on the international blues scene today.
Described by “Guitar & Bass” as playing “the kind of blues that’ll lift the most stubborn of frowns,” King King’s signature sound blends soulful melodies, driving grooves, and fiery guitar work — a formula that has won them legions of devoted fans and widespread critical acclaim.
Nimmo, an award-winning bluesman in his own right, is the beating heart of King King.
Known for his full-blooded vocal delivery, tasteful solos, and magnetic stage presence, Nimmo’s leadership has propelled the band to remarkable heights.
Their meteoric rise includes multiple accolades from the British Blues Awards, with King King taking home “Best Band” for three consecutive years (2012 to 2014) and “Best Album” in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
Their enduring impact was solidified with an induction into the British Blues Awards Hall of Fame.
Whether commanding festival main stages or captivating crowds in intimate venues, King King deliver electrifying performances that leave audiences exhilarated and wanting more.
With a rich legacy behind them and new material on the horizon, King King continue to raise the bar for modern blues.
They are at The Apex on Monday, October 6, at 7.50pm.
