A charity night has hit a bullseye for charity as competitive fun raises hundreds for a hospice caring for people with long-term and life-threatening illnesses.
The charitable occasion organised by the Mildenhall and District Ladies Darts League proved it had great aim as players battled it out to raise £200 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The competition, saw eight teams take part, the Kings Head A and B teams, Clicks at Red Lodge, Mildenhall Social Club, Lakenheath Football Club, West Stow A and B teams and Red Lodge Sports.
Miranda McCoy, hospice community fundraiser, said: “Thank you to all the lovely ladies who took part in the darts charity night – to me you are all top scorers!
“The money we receive from our supporters across the community makes a huge difference to us. Not only do everyone’s efforts help fund the care those using our services need but they raise awareness of the hospice and all the work we do.
