England cricket stars to turn out for charity at Woolpit

England cricket stars of the current era and those of yesteryear will be turning out to take part in a charity match against Woolpit Cricket Club on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.

They include Alex Tudor, Owais Shah, Devon Malcolm, Dean Headley, Jonathan Trott, John Emburey, Ajmal Shahzad, Phil DeFreitas, Anthony McGrath, Matthew Hoggard and Ravi Bopara, all members of the PCA England Masters team. TV commentator and cricket pundit Nick Knight will also be at the event to help compare.

They will be taking part in a T20 game against a Woolpit team and all the money raised from ticket sales will go back into the club to help improve facilities and equipment.

It costs £5 for a standard ticket purchased in advance, £7 for a standard ticket purchased on the gate.

There is parking available and there will also be a variety of food stalls, a Greene King beer trailer, Sports Tours Plus, and Garrad and Flack Bat specialists on site throughout the event.
