Sheep have been attacked and killed by a dog while they have been grazing in fields in Bentley.
Now police are appealing for information into the incidents and reminding dog owners to take steps to keep their animals under control.
The incidents took place between June 7 and July 13 on sheep grazing in fields on Bergholt Road, Bentley.
It is believed that a large dog had attacked the livestock on several occasions, leading to three sheep being killed and another being seriously injured.
The most recent incident is reported to have taken place on Monday, July 13, sometime between 7am and 11am.
There is a popular public footpath to the rear of the field and police are reminding dog owners to keep their animals under control.
