A member of a Second World War commemorative cemetery group in the Netherlands has put out an appeal to track down the family of a former soldier who is buried at the site.
Wernoud Euwens, who is a volunteer at the cemetery in Overloon, which is just over 20 miles south of Nijmegen and close to the German border, is researching details of Lance Corporal Nelson John Brown, who originally came from Great Ashfield.
He said he has been trying to get in touch with his family but it “did not work out.”
He added: “We are trying to get pictures, diaries and stories about our 280+ servicemen that are buried at our cemetery.”
If anyone can help he can be contacted via email at email@example.com or go to the
