Cinema fans are set to be flocking back to the Abbeygate Cinema, in Bury St Edmunds, when it reopens next week following the relaxation of the coronavirus restrictions.
After months of lockdown and the mothballing of life as we know it there is a programme of films coming up when the venue opens from Thursday, May 20.
And the cinema’s No 4 Restaurant and Bar will also be open for business from Monday, May 17.
“The Greatest Showman” will kick off the reopening and those lucky enough to get a ticket to see the film will also include a three-course meal.
Other films set to be screened in the first week are “Nomadland”, “Minari”, “The Dig”, “Sound of Metal” and “Judas and the Black Messiah”. And Saturday’s family film on May 22 will be “Paddington” with tickets priced at £2.50 each.
