A14 closed after pedestrian dies in collision with vehicle
A pedestrian has died following a road traffic collision on the A14 at Coddenham.
It’s led to the eastbound carriageway of the road being closed following the incident last night, Saturday, September 17.
Officers received a call at about 8.55pm of a report of a single vehicle colliding with a pedestrian.
Emergency services were called to the scene and it has since been confirmed that the pedestrian has died. No-one else was injured in the collision.
The eastbound carriageway of the A14 at the A140 junction with Coddenham is currently closed and drivers are advised that it will remain shut for much of this morning with diversion routes set up.
