Man charged with drug offences with links to Haverhill

A man has been charged with drug offences with links to Haverhill.
A warrant was conducted on Thursday, November 3, in Romford, at a property by officers from the Met police, on behalf of Suffolk under Operation Orochi.
A quantity of suspected cocaine, cash and paraphernalia suspected to be associated with drug supply were seized.
A male was arrested at the scene and taken to Martlesham Heath Police investigation Cere for questioning.
Q’mii Kennedy-Powlette, aged 22, of Eccleston Crescent, in Romford, was subsequently charged with five offences.
These were:
Being concerned in supply of heroin between July 1, 2022, and September 25, 2022;
Being concerned in supply of crack cocaine between July 1, 2022, and September 25, 2022;
Being concerned in the supply of heroin between September 25, 2022, and November 3, 2022;
Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between September 25, 2022, and November 3, 2022.
He was also charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug Class A – cocaine on November 3.
He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Friday, November 4, and was further remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, December 2.
Operation Orochi is an operation set up by Suffolk Constabulary with the Metropolitan Police to tackle County Lines drug dealing that operates between London and Suffolk.
