A12 to close to allow for work to be carried out on the dual carriageway
The A12 on the outskirts of Ipswich is set to be closed later this month as a series of work is set to be carried out.
The closure, which commences next Monday, October 27, and continues for a week, will mean traffic heading south towards Colchester will have to divert along the A137 towards Brantham, Manningtree, Lawford and Ardleigh.
It road will be closed from the Copdock interchange to the Crown interchange in Colchester for resurfacing, refreshing road markings and replacing worn-out studs.
The work will be carried out between 9pm and 5am week nights.
