Road closed following collision between two vehicles

The A143 Bury St Edmunds/Haverhill road had to be closed near Chevington last night (Wednesday, January 18) following a serious road traffic collision.

Police were called just after 6.05pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision.

The road was closed between Sharpe’s Lane, Horringer ,and Chedburgh Road, near Whepstead.

A diversion was put in place through Whepstead.
