Two men assaulted outside pub in Sudbury

Two men, both in their 20s, have been the victims of an assault outside a pub in Sudbury.
The incident took place on Saturday, March 11, on King Street, at about 12.35am.
One of the victims was asked to leave a pub and subsequently had an altercation with someone he knew outside who was also asked to leave. The victim awoke the next day with an eye injury and injuries to his back.
At the time of the incident a male, also aged in his 20s, had stepped in to break up a fight and has been punched to the face, initially knocking him unconscious.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but later discharged.
