Man attacked and squirted with acid in Newmarket
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Newmarket.
The incident occurred between 9pm and 10pm in The Avenue on Friday, September 8, when the victim was squirted on the arm with a syringe containing an acid-like substance and then pushed against a wall, causing cuts to his face. He also suffered burn marks to his arm.
The assailant is described as a white male, slim build, about 5ft 4in tall with short dark hair and beard. He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark jogging trousers.
