An established Suffolk-based marketing company has announced a new look and a new name – taken from a strange quirk on their building.
9:55 Creative is the new name for Silver Monkey Marketing, a design agency set up more than 12 years ago when founder Andy Glass was made redundant and started the business from the spare room.
From there, Andy, wife and co-director Louise, and their team of digital marketers and designers, have gone from strength-to-strength from offices at Stour Valley Business Centre, in Sudbury.
And it is their office building, and a time that literally stands still, that has inspired their new brand and name.

Andy explained: “The Silver Monkey moniker served us well for 12 years – taking us from a one-man business to where we are now, but we believe this new identity better represents our values and vision for the future.
“The new name was inspired by the clock on the outside wall of our design studio (pictured above), which has been resolutely displaying this time for as long as anyone can remember.
“We are proud to be based in Sudbury, and Suffolk, and thought this was a fitting way of displaying those roots.”
And fearing that 9.55 might have to go through another name change, Andy joked: “We’ve checked with the owners of Stour Valley Business Centre and they have no intention of fixing the clock anytime soon.”
9.55 Creative is a leading agency providing design, digital, and marketing services across a wide range of industries.
