Serious sexual assault on woman in Bury St Edmunds town centre

A serious sexual assault was reported in Bury St Edmunds prompting police to issue an appeal for help into the incident.

It took place between 3am and 6am on Sunday, October 29, in the vicinity of Parkway and Risbygate Street, where a woman was assaulted by a male suspect.

Detectives are appealing for any potential witnesses, including anyone who was in the vicinity of the Arc Shopping Centre, Parkway or Risbygate Street between 3am and 6am on Sunday morning.

Anyone with a property nearby that has CCTV or a doorbell camera, or any motorists who were driving in the area between the times stated above who has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, are asked to review the footage for anything that may be of assistance.
