Man arrested after discovery of cannabis factory in Sudbury

A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a cannabis factory in Sudbury.

Officers made the discovery at approximately 7.55pm yesterday, Wednesday, May 15, in a unit at the Chilton Industrial Estate, on Addison Road.

On entering the premises officers found a large quantity of cannabis on two floors.

Two male suspects were located within the premises but they fled the scene.

One of the suspects, a 42-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (pictured above) for questioning where he remains.

The second male remains outstanding.
