Friends fundraising purchases play equipment at primary school

A new play area funded by kind-hearted primary school parents has been officially opened.
A series of fundraising events organised by the Friends of Wells Hall Primary School has led to the new equipment being used and enjoyed by all year groups at the Great Cornard school.
A spokesperson for the Friends group said: “It is wonderful to see all the money that has been raised make such a difference to the pupils at Wells Hall.
“We are just a small committee of parents who have joined together to organise a cake sale, disco, Christmas shopping morning and summer fair. We would like to thank everyone who supported all the fundraising events.”
The Friends worked with the Wells Hall School Council to decide on what types of play equipment would be most beneficial.
