Welsh comedian, satirist and writer Kiri Pritchard-McLean set to appear at The Apex

Welsh multi-award winning comedian, satirist and writer Kiri Pritchard-McLean (pictured above) is heading to Bury St Edmunds next month to appear at The Apex.

She’s appeared on TV in “Live at the Apollo”, “8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown”, “QI” and “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and regularly co-hosts BBC Radio 4’s “Loose Ends”, guest hosted “The News Quiz” and hosts her own panel show “Best Medicine”.

And she’s also a foster parent. But until now she hasn’t been able to talk about it on stage, she hasn’t even told the kids in her care that she’s a comedian. And she uses a different name.

However, this year something changed and, after a couple of the toughest gigs of her career in boardrooms to social workers, a show about becoming a foster carer has been signed off.

So, come and join “Louise” as she lifts the lid on social workers, first aid training and what not to do when a vicar searches for you on YouTube.

Kiri Pritchard-McLean is at The Apex on Sunday, November 3, at 7.30pm. See www.theapex.co.uk or ring 01284 758000 for tickets. Or visit The Apex box office in Charter Square Bury St Edmunds.
