Julie Fordham to appear at The Apex later this month
Julia Fordham (pictured above) is due to appear at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, later this month, performing an array of her songs including “Happy Ever After”, “Where Does The Time Go”, “Porcelain”, “Girlfriend”, “Love Moves (In Mysterious Ways)” and “Manhattan Skyline” alongside songs from her forthcoming album.
She was recently seen at the town centre venue as part of the all-female group Woman to Woman, which featured Judie Tzuke and Beverley Craven.
The trio released an acclaimed album and sold in excess of 50,000 tickets on their UK tour.
Julia started writing her own songs and performing them at local folk clubs in the south coast of England when she was 14.
A few years later she was invited to be a guest singer with the UK’s National Youth Jazz Orchestra, which sparked a lifelong love of the Jazz genre.
Known for her stunningly rich voice and intelligent and heartfelt lyrics, Julia has worked with esteemed producer Larry Klein and collaborated with such artists as Paul Reiser, Michael McDonald and India Arie.
She is at The Apex on Friday, November 22. See www.theapex.co.uk or ring 01284 758000 for tickets or visit The Apex box office in Charter Square Bury St Edmunds.
