ITS PANTO TIME AT THE THEATRE ROYAL……and what a great Panto
oh yes it is!!!
The panto season started with a bang on Friday 22nd at the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds with the first night of this year’s offering of the classic Aladdin.
The show had everything you would expect, jokes for kids, jokes for adults, jokes for everyone, a bit of slapstick, great music, superb dancing, a love story, audience participation, a singalong and of course, a villain, a camel, a flying carpet and a very attractive Panto Dame called Sally Swankey played by the excellent Quinn Patrick
Not only were the cast absolutely brilliant but the scenery and lighting were superb giving a tremendous Arabian atmospheric effect

Charlie Cameron plays the magical Genie and the intrusively enthusiastic Vizzy, aide to Princess Yasmin; Ruby Ablett, is Washy, the driving force behind Abanazer International taking every job in her stride all with a quick wit and a smile on her face; and Lizzie Buckingham is Camilla The Camel
