Three vehicle crash closes road in Long Melford

A road had to be closed in Long Melford yesterday (Saturday, February 15) after a collision involving three vehicles.

The accident took place at Rodbridge Corner on the B1064 and the emergency services were called to the scene just after 12.05pm.

The crash involved a white BMW, a white Porsche and a grey SEAT with police, the East of England Ambulance Service and fire crews attending the scene.

Injuries were initially reported of two drivers and one passenger but they were not considered to be life-threatening or life changing at the time.

There was a full road closure in place from the B1064 junction with Borley Road to the junction with the A134 but has since reopened.
