Tribute to man who brought ‘joy and laughter’ into everybody’s lives

A man who died following a two-vehicle collision on the A14 near Stowmarket last month is being named by police, as his family issue a tribute to him saying he brought “joy and laughter” into everybody’s lives.
Police were called at just after 11.40pm on Thursday, February 20, to reports of a collision involving a car and an HGV on the westbound carriageway of the A14 between Stowmarket and Haughley.
A black Ford C-Max car was in collision with a Volvo Skip Loader vehicle, parked in a layby.
Ambulance, a paramedic from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) and fire crews were also in attendance but the driver of the car was sadly declared deceased at the scene.
Subject to confirmation at formal inquest proceedings, the deceased has been identified as John Vincent (pictured above), aged 61, from Ipswich.
Mr Vincent’s family has issued the following tribute on their behalf:
“To a loving father, brother and grandad who will be sorely missed for all the joy and laughter you brought into everybody’s lives.
“You will be missed greatly by all who knew you. Rest in peace you will never be forgotten.
“We love you.
“RIP John William Vincent.”
