The London Ballet Company at the Apex next week

The London Ballet Company (pictured above) is returning to The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, next week, with a dance adaptation of “The Sound of Music”.
Featuring a cast of dancers, the production follows Maria, a free-spirited young woman who becomes the governess for the Von Trapp children.
As she transforms their strict household into one filled with joy and music, the dancers’ movements convey the growing bond between Maria, the children, and their father, Captain Von Trapp.
The choreography highlights the emotional journey as the family faces the encroaching Nazi threat and the dancers embody the resilience and hope that lead the Von Trapps to safety in Switzerland.
This ballet merges storytelling, music, and movement into an unforgettable theatrical experience.
The London Ballet Company are at The Apex on Thursday, April 24, at 7.30pm.
