Cyclist seriously hurt following accident in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a collision between a car and a bicycle in Bury St Edmunds.
The incident happened at 10.40am yesterday (Sunday, April 27) at the mini-roundabout in Newmarket Road at the junction with Westley Road.
The male cyclist was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
Westley Road was closed while emergency services were on the scene and reopened late afternoon.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or from motorists who have dash cam footage of the incident.
