Three arrested following assault in Thurston

Three people have been arrested following an assault in Thurston last night.
Officers were called to Ixworth Road by the ambulance service just before 11.45pm yesterday, Wednesday, June 11, after a man sustained injuries following a suspected assault.
The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was reportedly involved in a physical alteration involving another man inside a residence on Bassett Road.
He fled the scene on foot and called for an ambulance, having sustained injuries to his arm and leg.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was discharged earlier this morning.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 61-year-old woman from Needham Market, a 26-year-old woman from Thurston and a 39-year-old man from Thurston were arrested in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
They were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (pictured above) for questioning, where they remain.
Police believe that this is an isolated incident involving parties that are known to each other.
