Attempted robbery from woman in Stowmarket
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted robbery in Stowmarket.
At approximately 7.30pm on Sunday, July 13, a woman was walking along Stowupland Road, close to the Charles Industrial Estate, when she was reportedly approached by three unknown males, who reportedly tried to take her handbag.
The woman was reportedly pushed over and punched in the stomach before the individuals left the scene.
Police are appealing for any potential witnesses and asking any motorists driving along Stowupland Road, between Stowmarket railway station and Stowupland or between Mortimer Road and Stowupland Road, Stowmarket, between 7.20pm and 7.40pm with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
