Car smashed with hammers by three men following road rage incident

Three men are being sought by police after a car was smashed with hammers by the trio in Haverhill following a road rage incident.

The owner of the car is reported to have exchanged words with the three white males at the roundabout at the bottom of Bumpstead Road before driving off.

The men followed him, stopped his vehicle, a BMW, in Ehringhausen Way, and caused extensive damage while threatening the driver. The car was left undriveable.

The incident took place at 4.45pm on Monday, July 14, and officers would like to hear from any witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage.
