Pedestrian hurt following incident in Haverhill

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Haverhill.

Officers were called to Sturmer Road, near to the Esso petrol station on the A143, just after 1.30pm today, Thursday, August 21, to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a male pedestrian.

Ambulance crews are also in attendance at the incident.

The road is expected to remain closed for some time and motorists are advised to find alternative routes.
