Gary Davies set for appearance at The Apex with his DJ show

Radio 2 presenter and DJ Gary Davies is coming to The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, later this month with his “Kick Up The 80s” show.

It is the live touring version of his hit BBC Radio 2 show “Sounds of the 80s”.

Back in the thick of it, he’s loving being a DJ again, not only through hosting “Sounds of the 80s”, but also taking his own DJ sets out on the road, just like he did before.

There’s a real love for the decade’s music and for him it’s truly personal.

“The 80s were the most memorable days of my life. I helped pioneer so many 80s records and still have huge love for the most creative decade in music,” he said.

Dressing up is encouraged: “Dress up. Go big,” Davies laughs. “You’ll regret it if you don’t.”

So, dust off your shoulder pads, tease that hair, dig out your best vintage outfits and prepare to dance.
