Suffolk Chamber of Commerce accredited as SFEDI centre to strengthen business skills across the region
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce has been officially recognised as an SFEDI Awards Approved Centre, a move that strengthens the region’s business support and professional development.
This accreditation from the UK’s standards-setting body for enterprise and entrepreneurship enables Suffolk Chamber to deliver nationally recognised qualifications for business support professionals, including advisers, mentors and those working in enterprise or economic development roles.
By bringing these qualifications to Suffolk, the Chamber makes it easier for professionals to gain formal recognition for their skills while improving the quality of guidance available to local businesses.
The aim is to give business support professionals the tools and credibility they need to help businesses start, grow, and succeed.
John Dugmore, the chief executive of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, said: “We’re looking forward to helping professionals across the region grow and succeed.
“This accreditation is an important step in providing practical training and recognised qualifications that make a real difference to businesses.”
The new SFEDI Awards Centre aligns with the Chamber’s wider goal of supporting SMEs, developing local talent and strengthening the county’s economy.
