A prancing pony at The Apex

El Pony Pisador (pictured above) is a lively and unique band from Barcelona, known for an eclectic blend of musical styles and humorous, adventurous spirit and they are due at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, next month.
Their mix of folk sounds from all over the world results in a fun and energetic sound that’s unpredictable and full of personality.
Their native Catalan songs and dances meet Celtic and Mediterranean tunes, yodelling, Tuvan throat singing and even Balkan polyrhythms.
They have released four albums and accumulated over six million online streams; however the band are really best experienced live.
Their shows have been shaped by the experience of playing at festes majors (Catalan festivities), which are not just a concert, but a cultural celebration where the whole town participates.
This gives their shows a festive atmosphere that is suitable for all ages.
El Pony Pisador are at The Apex on Wednesday, November 5, at 7.30pm.
